Ms. Dawson

Students accessing support from Special Education are provided with an individualized program based on his/her strengths and needs. This program is part of the student's Individual Support Services Plan. 

The Individual Support Services Plan is a summary of relevant information regarding the student and the program which will be followed.

The ISSP (Individual Support Services Plan) is developed collaboratively by an ISSP team consisting of :

•  parents/guardians, 
•  teachers, (classroom and special education)
•  administration, and 

other relevant service providers as dictated by the student's strengths and needs (these may include; Speech/Language Pathologist, Guidance Counselor, Educational Psychologist, Occupational Therapist...)
 

Ms. Dawson is currently providing direct support for approximately 20 to 30 students ranging from grades one to six.
