St. Francis of Assisi School is located on
29 Outer Cove Road in the community of Logy Bay - Middle Cove -
Outer Cove, NL. It
has a student population of over 200 and offers K- 6.
Our school has a total of
19 fulltime educational staff. We have a guidance counselor and specialist teachers in the areas of
Music/Band, Learning Resources, and Physical Education as well
as the support of student assistants. In addition to staff
based at the school, we have access to District Office staff
including Speech Language Pathologist, Educational Psychologist,
Program Specialists and School District Administration staff.
St. Francis of Assisi has the services of secretarial and maintenance personnel.
St. Francis of Assisi School continues to be a child-centered school
with a strong focus on addressing the individual needs of our
students, not only as this relates to the teaching-learning
environment, but also with respect to our students, recognizing
that each one is valued as an individual with gifts and talents
to share with classmates, peers and staff. On behalf of the
students and staff of St. Francis of Assisi and the Administration
of this school would like to thank all of our parents for your
supports on so very many levels during the past year. The
success of any school community is so very dependent upon the
support and involvement of all stakeholders. The involvement and
